Pogba refreshes negotiations with Juventus

Manchester United’s Midfielder, Paul Pogba, is set to meet Juventus today as they begin talks over his possible return to his former Club in Turin.

According to report, the 29-year-old French International is set to leave United when his contract ends in June.

Juventus made this first move by inviting his agent, Rafaela Pimenta for negotiations in Turin to, understand the feasibility of a potential transfer.

Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain retain an interest in signing Pogba but a potential stay in the Premier League has not been ruled out.

Though, Juventus would not be able to offer Pogba a better financial package than their competitors, but he is at liberty to make a footballing decision.

Should the transfer happen, it would be the second time the Italian Giants would sign Pogba on a free transfer from United.

It should be recalled than Juventus signed 19-year old Pogba in 2012, and sold him back to United for £94.5m in 2016 after he flourished into one of Europe’s best young stars.

Currently, Pogba has only registered one goal and nine assists for United in an injury-troubled season, as he continues to strive for fitness ahead of their final game of the season at Crystal Palace on Sunday.
