29 Year Old Akomolafe Emerges PDP Sole Candidate for Ekiti South Federal Constituency 1

A 29 year old Engineer and businessman, Engr Henrich Akomolafe has been cleared to contest the PDP House of Representatives ticket for Ekiti South Federal Constituency 1.

Akomolafe, who is also an alumnus of the Forbes30 under 30 Class, emerged as the sole aspirant for position and has been declared the Unopposed Candidate of the Party.

In a statement posted on his social media handle, Akomolafe whose supporters had demonstrated a few days ago over an alleged plot to manipulate him out of the race said; “On Wednesday, I faced the screening panel of the PDP as the sole Aspirant for the Member of House of Representatives, Ekiti South Federal Constituency 1.

“The first phase of our campaign received the massive support of the people and no doubt played a role in convincing our Father& Leader, H.E, Ayodele Fayose that I, Engr. Henrich Akomolafe remain the man to strengthen the efforts of the PDP to achieve victory ahead of the Gubernatorial Poll in Ekiti,” he added.

While thanking the Governorship Candidate of the PDP in the state, Hon. Bisi Kolawole for giving youths a chance, Akomolafe promised to redefine representation in the Constituency.

Akomolafe, who hails from Ikere has also received the blessings of the two Royal fathers of the town, the Ogoga of Ikere, Oba Adejimi Adu-Alagbado and the Olukere, Oba Ganiyu Obasoyin to pursue the mandate.
