EID MAULUD: Akindele Greets Muslims Seeks Prayer For Nigeria

The lawmaker representing Irepodun/Ifelodun Constituency one at the Ekiti State House of Assembly Hon. Femi Akindele has felicitated with Muslims faithful in the state on the commemoration of El-Maulud.

In a statement in Ado Ekiti, Hon. Akindele said celebrating the birth of Prophet Muhammed is an evidence of his humane traits, love and kindness towards fellow human beings while on earth urging Muslims to emulate such virtues.

He explained that the life of the holy prophet was a role model for all Muslims as he epitomizes every good characters that a true Muslim must exhibit.

He advised Muslims in Ekiti State and all over Nigeria to use the occasion to pray for peaceful coexistence and economy turn around for the country.

According to him ” the El-maulud is coming at the very right time because it is a holy day for faithfuls to call on God for Nigeria at this critical period of unrest in the country”.

The lawmaker also use the occasion to appeal people of Ekiti State to continue to support Governor Kayode Fayemi’s quest of bringing landslide infrastructural development to the state.

Honourable Akindele assured people of his constituency that he would not relent in his efforts at bringing dividends of democracy to them.
