Eld-el-Malaud: Ayokunle Celebrates Muslims in Ekiti

The member representing Ekiti South West constituency 1 at the State House of Assembly, Hon. Yemisi Ayokunle has felicitated with Muslims on the occasion of this year’s Eid-el-Maulud.
In a statement in Ado Ekiti, Hon. Ayokunle said the birth of Prophet Muhammed represents humility, love and peace hence the need for Muslims to imbibe his character.
The lawmaker also extended the felicitation to Muslim faithfuls in the cabinet of the present government of Dr John Kayode Fayemi with a prayer to Allah to grant them good health to celebrate many more years of Eldel-Malaud.
Hon. Ayokunle who is also the Chairman Ekiti State House of Assembly Committee on Information urged faithful to pray for the unity, peace and progress of the nation.
She said “I am happy for our Muslim brothers and sisters for witnessing another year on earth, I believe this is coming at the right time as it would enable them to call on Allah to restore peace to the country.
“At this point, we need divine intervention going by all rising cases of insecurity and economy downturn so it is not only a time for merriment but a time to seek Allah’s face”.
Honourable Ayokunle promised the people of her constituency that she would continue to represent them well irrespective of differences.
