ENDSARS: Government Must Attend To Demands Of Youths…Kewulere

Nigerian leaders have been advised to find lasting solutions to the demands of the protesting youths to avoid crisis in future.

President General League of Immams and Alfas of the Southwest, Edo and Delta states, Alhaji Jamiu Kewulere gave the advice while reacting to ENDSARS protest embarked upon by the youths.

Alhaji kewulere blamed killings and destruction of property in some parts of the country to inability of government to attend to the needs of the protesters earlier.

Alhaji kewulere condemned the formation of SWAT, saying that government ought to have settled with the youth before coming up with another anti crime squad.

The Islamic cleric appealed to government at all levels to pay attention to the needs of the masses through job creation, food security among others.

He lamented the hike in prices of commodities in the country, noting that many Nigerians find it difficult to meet their daily needs.

Alhaji Kewulere called on the youth to embrace peace while he sympathised with those who lost their beloved ones and property during the protest.

He called on Christians and Muslims to engage in fervent prayers to change the Fortune of the country for good.
