ENDSARS:EKSUTH CMD MAKES CASE FOR MEDICAL WORKERS

The Chief Medical Director of Ekiti State University Teaching Hospital, Ado Ekiti, Professor Kayode Olabanji has appealed to protesters of ENDSARS to allow all medical personnel, and all healthcare workers to come to work to perform the sacred function of life-saving.

The CMD made the appeal to ensure that patients who need medical attention are attended to on time and effectively.

According to him, some wounded protesters were rushed to the Teaching Hospital on Monday inspite of the fact that many of the staff were prevented from coming to work.

He added that anybody can become a patient at any time. Stressing that preventing medical personnel from coming to work is very risky and dangerous.

The EKSUTH boss, while identifying with their course, called for understanding of the protesters in order not to endanger the lives of the people, including the youths who are protesting.

Prof Olabanji advised all staff to always have their ID cards with them for identification when necessary.
