2nd ANNIVERSARY: Ekiti NULGE Felicitates With Fayemi, Seeks Better Welfare For Members

The Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees, NULGE, Ekiti state chapter has rejoiced with the state Governor, Dr. Kayode Fayemi for his second year in office.

In a statement in Ado-Ekiti, NULGE President, Comrade Oluseyi Olatunde and the Secretary, Comrade Suleiman Aleru commended the giant strides of the Governor within his two years in office.

Comrades Olatunde and Aleru said within the period, the state had witnessed tremendous infrastructural development such as construction and rehabilitation of roads, reconstruction of dams, extension of water pipes across the state, renovation of schools and prompt payment of workers’ salaries, among others.

They prayed God to grant him the required wisdom and knowledge to steer the ship of the state to a safe haven.

The Ekiti state NULGE leaders also commended the wife of the Governor, Erelu Bisi Fayemi, the Deputy Governor, Otunba Bisi Egbeyemi and his wife, Margaret for their support for the state’s helmsman.

Comrades Olatunde and Aleru however urged Governor Fayemi to always place premium on workers’ welfare to ensure harmonious working relationship and engender maximum productivity.
