A 30-year old Temitayo Ogunbusola of Sebil Kazeem street in lkotun area of Lagos State has stabbed his co-tenant, Oladotun Osho, to death over disagreement on electricity bill.

According to some of the neighbors, trouble started when their light was about to be disconnected and each tenant was asked to pay up his debt to enable them clear the bill, but Temitayo, who was already oweing 25 thousand naira, got upset and threatened to kill anybody who dared to ask him for money.

He picked a knife and started chasing everybody and in the process Oladotun who was coming from outside was stabbed on the chest.

In an interview, the deceased father, Mr Joseph Osho, a retired public servant who resides at Ijegun, said the death of his son came as a shock because the mother spoke to him that very day.

Mr Osho who called for justice over the death of his son, said they looked up to him to take care of them at old age, adding that his death had made such dream impossible.

At the palace of the Alagodo of Agodo, Alayeoluwa Oba, the first Mudashiru Alade Adejobi, Radio Nigeria spoke with pastor Gabriel Owobunmiyin, head alternative conflict Resolution in Agodo Kingdom, who comdenmed the act, said Agodo was one of the most peaceful area and urged the relevant authorities to take the necessary action that would serve as a deterrent to others

As at the time of this report, efforts to reach the police public relations officer DSP BALA ELKANEM on the incident proved abortive

Meanwhile, the case has been transferred to Panti for further investigation while the remains of the deceased has been deposited in the morgue, awaiting auptosy.
