RAMADAN:EKITI NUJ CHAIRMAN REACHES OUT TO MUSLIM MEMBERS

The chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists NUJ, Ekiti State Council, Comrade Rotimi Ojomoyela has distributed beverages to members of the union who are observing Ramadan.

Speaking on the gesture, Comrade Ojomoyela explained that it was necessary to extend hands of fellowship to them during this period.

The Ekiti state NUJ chairman noted that the Holy Quran ordered that people should give sacrificially to Muslim faithful during this period to be a partaker of Almighty blessings.

Comrade Ojomoyela urged Muslims to use the period of fasting to seek the face of God to end covid-19 pandemic affecting the nation.

He also appealed to them to adhere strictly to all precautionary measures put in place by government to check the spread of coronavirus.

Some of the beneficiaries appreciated comrade Rotimi Ojomoyela for the gesture and pry Allah to continue to bless him.
