Chief Folorunso Olabode was the Commissioner for Sports during the first term of Governor Kayode Fayemi.
He was returning from Port Harcourt, venue of the National Sports Festival in 2011 when he was involved in a car crash somewhere close to Sapele in Delta State.
Chief Olabode, the driver and his Police Orderly suffered various degree of injuries and were all taken to Sapele General Hospital for treatment.
His official car was a write-off while the three of them spent several weeks in the hospital and later at home.
Back to the present, Chief Olabode is the Commissioner for Agriculture and is now the subject of a kidnap case, alongside two others.
Talk of turbulent time in office.
