Barely one week after distribution of large quantity of materials (including sanitizers, nose covers, soaps, plastic water buckets) to the people of Moba local government in the campaign towards eradication of the global pandemic, convid-19, an llustrious son of Mobaland Prince Dr Olabode Adetoyi has in addition, donated food items to cushion the effect of the Corona virus lockdown on the people of Mobaland.

The Otun Ekiti-born industrialist who donated the items on behalf of his BAM Foundation on Friday, has been lauded for his philanthropism and rare display of affection and patriotism to the people of Mobaland.

In a brief address during the presentation, the Executive Chairman of Moba Local Government, Hon. Bayo Aborisade (BOYO) eulogized the donor, Dr. Olabode Adetoyi and his BAM FOUNDATION for providing food items to indigent and vulnerable people of his local government area in a bid to cushion the effect of the lockdown due to COVID-19 pandemic.

The chairman lauded Prince Adetoyi who he referred to as a ‘God sent’ to his people and the local government at this time, used the occasion to remind the beneficiaries that the Otun Ekiti prince had about a week ago, sent COVID – 19 awareness and protective materials worth thousands of Naira to the local government adding that the food items came at a time when the entire state was experiencing a total lockdown with its attendant hardships
which came as welcome relief and needed palliatives to the people.

He however, encouraged the donor to keep doing his best for the people while also prayed for God’s mercies on him in all his earthly endeavours.
The Council boss also expressed his joy on Prince Adetoye’s appointment as member of the Ekiti State COVID-19 Response Resource Mobilisation Committee.

In his brief remarks, Prince Dr. Bode Adetoyi, who was represented by Prince Abilomu Adebayo the OPU President, thanked the gathering for making out time to grace the occasion. He also expressed his readiness to always support the local government in his capacity as his modest contribution to humanity.
He enjoined the people of the local government to abide by the government’s directives on the lock down and social distancing, praying that the pandemic will soon become a thing of the past.

Prince Adetoyi however, assures the council boss of his support to alleviate the sufferings of the people and also to give succor and smiles on the faces of the needy.

He further commended the good works of the Hon Aborisade urging him to do more for the best of the people and posterity.

In a related development, speaking on behalf of invited royal fathers at the occasion, the Onigogo of Igogo Ekiti, Oba Sunday Adewumi. JP, eulogies Prince Dr Bode Adetoyi for the kind gestures stressing that the act of giving back to the society selflessly has been part of the Otun Prince while praying for more success and good health for him in all his endeavors.

Representatives of other communities in the local government also thanked him for the kind gestures and encouraged other prominent indigenes of the local government to emulate the good gesture of Prince Dr Bode Adetoyi
