Ekiti State Governor, Dr Kayode Fayemi says the current economic challenges caused by outbreak of Coronavirus, will not affect payment of salary and completion of ongoing projects in the State.

The Governor, stated this in Ado Ekiti while inspecting the civic Centre complex, and facilities at the state’s isolation centre..

Dr Fayemi said the effects of such pandemic with its negative impact on the nations economy would be managed to enable govts to fulfill thier moral obligations and responsibilities to the people..

He explained that inspite of the economic situation govt would maintain its recurrent expenditure, particularly in relation to salaries of workers which remained paramount.

The Governor, therefore expressed satisfaction at the level of work done on the projects, stressing that he was sure
that the contractors would deliver on time..

The Governor with some Commissioners also inspected Aramoko-Erinjiyan road project,the newly constructed Erio bridge,ongoing water reservoir at fajuyi and drainage work at oba Adejugbe hospital in Ado Ekiti..
