About ten thousand newly admitted students of the Federal Polytechnic, Ado Ekiti have sworn to an oath to be of good behavior and comply with the institution regulations.

The oath was administered by the Registrar of the institution, Mrs kehinde Eknamen during the matriculation ceremony held in the school.

Roundoffnews gathered that the ceremony witnessed large turn of parents and well-wishers who came to celebrate with the students.

Addressing the gathering, rector of the Polytechnic, Dr Dayo Oladebeye highlighted some of the prohibited activities in the institution with a view that culprits would be rusticated without mercy.

He cautioned students against cooking with electric cookers, buying of text books from fellow students, vandalization of the school facilities among others.

Dr Oladebeye directed the students to register with the health center for proper record of their health status saying failure yo do so would lead to expolsion.

The rector promised that all necessary facilities needed to enhance teaching and learning had been put in place urging the students to develop maintenance culture.
