President Mohammadu Buhari has arrived Akure, the Ondo state capital for the inauguration of some projects.

President Buhari arrived the Akure Airport at 11: 22am with some members of the Federal executive Council.

The president’s visit is part of activities marking the third anniversary of governor Akeredolu in office.

The president was received by Ondo state governor ,Mr Oluwarotimi Akeredolu and his Ekiti counterpart ,Dr. Kayode Fayemi.

Some traditional leaders are also among dignitaries who welcomed the president.

The Akure Airport was filled with the people of Ondo state who waited anxiously for the arrival of president Muhammadu Buhari to the state.

APC members who also besieged the airports in thousands were led by the state chairman, Mr Ade Adetimehin and other party leaders.

As at ten O’clock in the morning, two advance Nigerian Airforce choopers have landed at the airport with military guards on ground.

Armed Security agents were also manning strategic locations of the airports.
