The Chief of Staff to the Governor of Ekiti State, Hon. Biodun Omoleye, has felicitated with the Ojurin of Ijurin-Ekiti, Oba Joachim Adeyemi Afolabi Ajibola on his 5th coronation anniversary as the monarch of the town.
Hon Omoleye said the accedence of Oba Ajibola to the throne of his fore- fathers has brought about infrastructural transformation of the town.
He stated this in Ijurin – Ekiti on Saturday, during the fifth coronation anniversary of the monarch.
Omoleye said the Oba has been able to use his wealth of experience to advance the prosperity and peace of the community, noting that the community has been united as an indivisible entity.
“There has been huge infrastructural transformation in this community. When a man of God is on the throne, he finds peace with his people and so, ever since we have been enjoying good things in this community.
“The uncountable royal father’s here present shows his great influence within the traditional circle in the State and the people from the National Human Rights Commission present here shows that the Kabiyesi is indeed a great man of many parts.
“To God be the glory this is the fifth year anniversary and we are seeing good things that he is doing, God is using him, and we are praying by the time he will be 10 years on the throne, this community will have alot to celebrate about him.
I congratulate him and his entire family on this auspicious occasion and I wish him more glorious reign in the service of this community and by extension Ekiti state.” He said
Dignitaries at the event include Attorney- General and Commissioner for Justice, Hon.Wale Fapounda, Director General, Ekiti State Council of Arts and Culture, Amb. Wale Ojo Lanre, Sole Administrator, Ekiti Waste Management Authority, Hon.Adebayo Kelekun, and many traditional rulers.
