EKITI PDP CRISIS:OLUJIMI CALLS FOR PEACE, SAYS I HAVE FORGIVEN FAYOSE.
Senator representing Ekiti South Senatorial District, Biodun Olujimi has called on the leadership of the People’s Democratic Party PDP both at the state and local government levels to begin to reach out to all aggrieved members of the party and bring them back to the fold.
Olujimi who spoke at PDP secretariat in Ado Ekiti during an interaction with some leadership of the party urged them to forget about all that happened during the past and come together as one family so as to face the task ahead.
According to her, the party can not move forward under an atmosphere of crisis hence the need for unity and love among members so as to build a strong an undefeatable party.
She called for sincerity among members of the party urging them to desist from playing unnecessary games due to financial gratifications.
Speaking on the issue between her and Fayose, Senator Olujimi affirmed that she had accepted the apology of Fayose adding that he had nothing against anyone.
However, Olujimi said the party would no longer tolerate slavery and oppression, but said she is building a party where members would have a better sense of belonging.
She promised that more empowerment programmes would be carried out in 2020.
