The People’s Democratic Party PDP in Ido Osi local government of Ekiti state has expelled ten of its members over involvement in anti party activities.
In statement made available to newsmen and signed by the chairman of the the party, Mr Olasusi Olufemi and the secretary, Mr Adebayo Dada the affected persons are accused of dinning with opposition and for compromising the party stance due to financial gratification and selfish interest.
Those expelled are: Executive chairman of Ido Osi local g government, Mr Tunde Aladegbami, vice chairman, Mr Tunde Olaosbikan, including Elected Councillors in the local Government, leader of the councillors, Mr Oloniyo Tope, Ojo Fakuade, Olatunde Seun.
Others are Jeje Buduyi, Ogunleye Fisayo, Olorunfemi Itunu, Tolani Jogunola and Adebayo Sogo.
The statement condemned the action of the culprits adding that PDP would not tolerate any acts of indiscipline.
According to the statement, PDP will bounce back soon and those who compromised would see its glory shine.
Meanwhile, some elected members of PDP local Government executives have last week defected to APC an action which Roundoffnews gathered necessitated the sanction.
