EKITI GOVERNMENT KNOCKS BEDC FOR POOR SERVICES.

Ekiti State Government has expressed dissatisfaction with the slow pace of response by Benin Electricity Distribution Company(BEDC) to issues bordering on faulty transformers across the state.

To this end, government has advised BEDC to make public the procedure for replacement of faulty tranformers so as to improve its service to the people of the state.

The commissioner for infrastructure and Public Utilities, Mr Bamidele Faparusi stated this during and meeting with some stakeholders , in Ado Ekiti

Mr Faparusi promised the state government’s readiness to liaise with the Ondo State , to fashion out modalities to resolve the bottlenecks in the supply of electricity by Transmission Company of Nigeria(TCN)

He called on BEDC to organize regular town hall meetings and involve all stakeholders with a view to communicating its procedure of engagement for attending to fault calls and extension of electricity infrastructure to new developed areas
