The Ekiti State Council of Traditional Rulers has condoned with the Governor of the State, His Excellency Dr Kayode Fayemi,  the people of Otun Ekiti, and entire people of Ekiti State on the passing on to glory of one of its  foremost traditional  rulers, the Oore of Otun, HRM Oba Adedapo Popoola who joined his ancestors on Monday, 21st October 2019.

In a statement  signed by the Chairman of the Traditional Council, HRM Oba Adebanji Ajibade Alabi, Afuntade 1, the Alawe of Ilawe – Ekiti, the Council described the sudden exit of Oba Popoola as an irreparable loss to the traditional institution in Ekiti State.

The Council therefore commiserated  with members of the immediate family of Oba Popoola, the Imoya Royal House of Otun, the people of Otun Ekiti, the Government and the entire  people of Ekiti State.

In the statement, the Council described the late Oore as an enigmatic, amiable, quintessential, resourceful, and highly intelligent monarch whose contributions to debates and discussions  in the Council could not be forgotten in a hurry.
