EKITI POLICE ARRESTS 12 SUSPECTED CULTISTS DURING INITIATION.

The Ekiti State Police Command has arrested some students of higher institutions in Ado Ekiti involved in cultism.

The students were raided on Wednesday morning during an initiation of new members.

Data of the students according to the police are;

During an interview, the suspects confessed to be members of ‘AIYE’ confraternity and students of Ekiti State University.

Exhibits recovered from them include:-
Two live cartridges, two battle axes, one, hammer, one Cutlass, two black Berrets, Seven pieces of suspected fake 100 US dollars, wraps of weeds suspected to be Indian hemp.

Addressing neesmen, the Commissioner of police Mr Amba Asuquo said the suspects would be charged to court.

The commissioner called on parents to monitor their children while in higher institutions of learning.
