The chairman of the National Association of Nigeria Nurses and Midwives Ekiti state chapter, comrade Olukayode Fatomiluyi has been re-elected for a second term in office.

Comrade Fatomiluyi who is also the current chairman of the Joint Negotiation Council JNC and other members of his cabinet were  re-elected unopposed at the 6th State Delegates’ Conference held in Ado Ekiti, except the position of the auditor two which was contested and won by Com. Joshua Olowofila

Other members of the executive are Com. Elizabeth Akinola – Vice- Chairman

Com. Kunle Oni Fin Secretary.

Com.Taiwo Babalola P.R.O/Acting Secretary.

In his acceptance speech, the new chairman, comrade Olukayode Fatomiluyi promised to consolidate on his past achievements towards moving the association forward.

Earlier, the Senior Special Assistant to the governor on  labour matters, Chief Oluyemi Esan congratulated the new executives and urged them to be united.

Representatives of TUC NLC JNC and other affiliate unions also showered encomium on Fatomiluyi and his team with a promise to work with them towards moving the labour force forward in Ekiti state.

Representative of the national body Mrs Magret Akinsola called for measures to check quackery in the profession while she equally urged government to ensure regular training of nurses.
