REVENUE OFFICERS IMPOUND VEHICLES WITHOUT NECESSARY DOCUMENTS IN ADO EKITI.

About fifty motorists  have been apprehended while their vehicles were impounded by the officers of the Board for Internal Revenue, Ekiti state, for failure to provide necessary documents.

The affected vehicles were parked at the premises of the board at Old Governor’s Office, Ado Ekiti.

The vehicles were intercepted by the officers during a special check-up carried out at Oke Oriomi area of Ado Ekiti.

Officers of the board were joined by security agencies to ensure that the operation was done without crisis.

Some of the motorists whose vehicles were impounded were seen begging for clemency.

Many other motorists who got hint of the exercise were seen making U-turn and taking alternative routes.

All efforts to get the chairman and other management team of the board was unsuccessful as they were not on seat when Roundoffnews visited.
