Ekiti State Government says it is committed to transparency in corporate governance and will not tolerate acts that can breach the accord signed with Ekiti people.

Governor Kayode Fayemi stated this at the swearing in of the four newly appointed Permanent Secretaries in Ado Ekiti.

Represented by the Deputy Governor Otunba Bisi Egbeyemi,Governor Fayemi said that his government would do everything possible in its capacity to make Ekiti one of the best among the commity of states in Nigeria.

Governor Fayemi explained that the permanent secretaries had no reason to be sycophantic but to always ensure professionalism to enhance government performances.

He pointed out that their appointments were aimed to reposition the civil service and urged them to take Ekiti beyond personal interest.

Speaking on behalf of Permanent Secretaries, Mr Ayokunle Alokan said that the new position would renew their energies to the government businesses and appreciated Governor Fayemi for given them the privilege to serve as permanent secretaries.

The new permanent secretaries are Mr Ayokunle Alokan from Efon Alaaye, Mr.Olufemi Adedipe, Ado Ekiti; Mr Sola Ogunnmiluyi from Ilupeju Ekiti and Mr Kayode Akinola, Ode Ekiti.
