NURSING MOTHER HELD HOSTAGE AT EKSUTH OVER FAILURE TO PAY DELIVERY BILLS.

A Nursing mother, Mrs Sade Ojo has been held hostage by the management of the Ekiti State University Teaching Hospital Ado Ekiti due to her failure to pay the hospital bills after putting to bed.

To this end, Sade Ojo and her relatives are calling on good samaritans to bail them out of the situation in the interest of the new born baby.

Roundoffnews gathered that Mrs Ojo was admitted at the Ekiti State Teaching Hospital in Ado Ekiti on Friday 30th August, 2019 at about 1:00am and was bid to deliver Twins on Saturday 31st August, 2019 but in the process of labouring, she lost one of the twins.

The second surviving child was referred to the Intensive Care Unit of the Ekiti State Teaching Hospital in Ado Ekiti on the same Saturday she delivered thus compounding her bills to the sum of Eighty Thousand, Seven Hundred and Fifty Naira (N80,750).

Mrs Ojo has been discharged for almost a week now but has not been allowed to go home since her husband is yet to pay for necessary bills.

Speaking to the press on Sunday afternoon at the Teaching Hospital’s Maternity Ward, the woman Sade Ojo was not happy over her situation and that of her husband’s inability to pay up the hospital bill given to them.

She used the opportunity to cry out to Her Excellency, the Wife of the Executive Governor of Ekiti, Erelu Bisi Fayemi and the Honourable Commissioner in charge of Health and Human Services in the State, Dr. Mrs. Mojisola Yaya Kolade and good Samaritans to come to her rescue and bail her out of her condition financially.

“I am tired sleeping at the hospital bed after been discharged to go home because of my failure to pay up accumulated bills as a result of the only surviving child that was transferred to the Intensive Care Unit.

Also speaking the husband who is a tailer noted that things have not been going on fine for him at the moment, urging good Nigerians to help in bailing his wife out of the situation.
