The message reads:
Concerning Ekiti state prison, the inmate there are suffering from the hands of those warders especially those Awaiting trial.

The way they treated them is very bad, since court have not found them guilty I don’t think they should be treated bad.

they sell drugs for them and impose everything on them which makes life miserable for them

. Some inmate there even wish they transfer them to another prison due to how and the rest are treating them,

One of the inmate name Rotimi Victor spoke to me during my evangelism visit to the place that I should help them to tell the radio station so that the prison ACG in Ibadan will be aware and look into it.

U can go to the prison for proper investigation because they are lamenting that government should look into it.

He called on appropriate authorities to investigate the matter and address all grey areas.

However, in a reaction, the Public Relations Officer Ekiti State Correction Facility Foluso Babalola denied the allegation describing it as malicious and false.

He noted that the named inmate “Rotimi Victor” Planned to import arms and ammunition to the correction facility through his robbery gangs outside the facility before his nefarious plans were nipped in the bud which he said was confirmed by the said inmate himself during his confessional statement.

We are therefore reassuring Ekiti populace that the Correction Authorities in Ekiti state will not relent in it’s effort at carrying out the mandate of keeping in safe custody and Rehabilitating Persons legally interned in our custody and will always pay due respect to their privileges and rights while carrying out this statutory mandate.
