It was indeed an epoch-making ceremony as Providence schools Ori Apata Adebayo Ado Ekiti marks the end of the year party for the 2018/2019 academic session.

The ceremony which took place within the school premises could be described as an exhibition of talents and academic excellence as pupils and students of the school made remarkable renditions, cultural display, and a poem on the location of the school said by a JSS one student.Ayomiposi Bankole.

Parents and invited guests who were stunned to surprise by the brilliant performances of the pupils and students showered them with cash gift and cheered them loudly.

Speaking on the occasion, some of the parents including Dr Olajide Adekunle and Mr Odunayo Ige affirmed to the quality of education offered by Providence schools across Ekiti which they claimed was due to the commitment of the proprietor chief Obafemi Ojo, a retired teacher.

The parents commended the brilliant performances of the children and urged them not to relent until they achieve their desired goals.

In a remark the chairman on the occasion, Mr Kojaya Atili thanked God for the success of the programme and equally showered encomium on the authorities of Providence schools for impacting moral and academic excellence on the children.

Mr Atili urged government to continue to partner private schools towards scaling up the standard of education in the state.

Earlier, the Head Mistress and Vice principal of the school Mrs Modupeola Olajide and Mrs Joy Ufot said the methods of teaching in the school had given it an edge over others adding that staff of the school were committed and dedicated to the primary assignment of grooming and moulding a world class students that could rank among their counterparts globally.

Addressing the gathering, the proprietor of Providence school, Chief Obafemi Ojo who said he preferred to be called the “chief servant” explained that the school was established based on his personal conviction and desire to create opportunities for Children in Ekiti to have access to qualitative education.

Chief Obafemi explained that the school had all necessary facilities and well trained personnel to deliver on its promises urging parents to enroll their children into the school.

Pupils and students of Providence who were visibly happy thanked God for sustaining their lives to witness the celebration with a promise to work hard towards achieving success.

Highlight of the event was the presentation of certificate to outstanding students as a musical band entertained the gathering.
