Priest’s Wife Celebrates birthday with Orphans in Omuo

It was celebration galore as the wife of the Priest in charge of Methodist Church Egbe Ekiti Mrs Grace Opeyemi Ojo marked her birthday with pupils of eighteen orphanage schools in Omuo Zone.

During the celebration, the children were presented with food drinks and other necessary gifts to enhance their academic career and well being.

Five outstanding pupils among the orphans were also supported with text books.

The pupils who felt a sense of belonging by the rare acknowledgement given to them by the celebrant were seen in joyful mood.

The programme which had in attendance friends and families of the celebrant was at the instance of her husband Reverend Omubunmi Ojo popularly known as Opejole.

Speaking with newsmen during the celebration Reverend Ojo OPejole said the development was to show gratitude to God for his love over his home.

“When l sat down last week l think deeply that this faithful woman deserve to be recognized on the day of her birthday and instead of eating and drinking for fun l took this steps in honor of my wife’s birthday to gather together the orphans in the 18 Schools in Omuo zone for a feast he said”.

In a remark the Chairman on the occasion Mr Jimmy Ajobiewe and the chairperson Chief Mrs Cecilia Adeyemo commended the couple for celebrating with orphans describing the step as a lesson for all

Also the Education secretary Ekiti East local Government Mr Apalowo Sunday and the AHOPSION Chairman Ekiti East local government Comrade Omotoso as well as some Headmasters in Omuo zone showered encomium on Reverend Ojo Opejole and his wife for the display of love to orphans.

Other invited guests appreciated the Rev Olubunmi Ojo opejole for the honour bestowed on his wife on the day of her birthday.

The gathering advised men to show more respect to their wives , care for them and learn how to appreciate them.

Earlier, the celebrant Mrs Opeyemi Grace Ojo Opejole who could not hide her joy thanked God for sparing her life to witness another year

Mrs Opejole was the Ekiti State best primary school teacher 2017.

Some of the pupils who benefited thanked the family of Rev Olubunmi Ojo opejole and prayed God to grant their heart desires.
