A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress APC from Ikere Ekiti Pastor Kayode Babade has described the emergence of Ekiti State Governor Dr Kayode Fayemi as the chairman of Nigeria Governors’ Forum as a blessing to the state and the yoruba race.

Fayemi had yesterday emerged as the new chairman of the NGF through consensus thus becoming the first in the history of Southwest governor to attain such position.

Pastor Babade in a statement made available to newsmen in Ado Ekiti expressed hope that Governor Fayemi would use the office to attract great development and global support for Ekiti State.

Babade who is the chairman Board for Technical and Vocational Education said he was not surprised at the victory of Fayemi based on his outstanding track records and leadership skills.

“Fayemi is a rare leader, he has displayed this uniqueness in all the offices that he has occupied he said.

He felicitated with the Governor and prayed God to continue to grant him wisdom, Knowledge and Understanding to deliver and make history.

Babade also rejoiced with the APC family in Ekiti for the glory Fayemi brought them and urged every member of the party to rally round the governor.
