Nurses in Ekiti State have
expressed sadness over the demise of one of them Mrs. Catherine Adeleye.
Mrs. Adeleye until her
death was the Head of Department of Nursing Ekiti State University Teaching
Hospital Ado Ekiti.
In a statement in Ado
Ekiti, the Chairman Association of Nurses and Midwives Ekiti State, Mr. Kayode
Fatomiluyi and the Public Relations Officer, Mr. Taiwo Babalola commiserated
with the family of the deceased and prayed God to grant them the fortitude to
bear the loss.
Mr. Fatomiluyi and Mr.
Babalola described late Mrs. Adeleye as an astute and devoted colleague who had
contributed immensely to the growth of Nursing Profession in Ekiti State and
Nigeria at large.
Activities for the burial
of Mrs. Adeleye will commence on Friday with service of songs at School of
Nursing and Midwifery Auditorium, EKSUTH, Ado Ekiti by five O ‘clock in the
evening, to be followed by funeral service on Saturday at the Name of Jesus
Cathedral, adjacent NNPC filling station, Iyin Road, Ado Ekiti by ten O ‘clock
in the morning.
Interment follows at her
residence in Oke-Bola, Omuo-Oke Ekiti by two o ‘clock in the afternoon.
