Ekiti Government Trains Workers on how to Drive Agenda.
Ekiti State has government has advised civil servants to drive and promote government policies and Programmes in order to enhance good governance.
Deputy Governor of the state Otunba Bisi Egbeyemi gave the advice while declaring open a day Capacity Building Workshop for the Staff of Deputy Governor’s office, held in Ado Ekiti.
Otunba Egbeyemi maintained that civil servants have a critical roles to play in the promotion of the four points agenda of the present administration of Governor Kayode Fayemi
He explained that the workshop was parts of strategies of government to transform the state civil service into efficient and effective platform towards implementation of government’s Programmes.
Earlier, the Permanent Secretary Office of the Deputy Governor, Mr. Sunday Akomolafe appreciated Governor Fayemi for his commitment to building a virile civil service.
Mr. Akomolafe however charged the participants to take adequate advantage of the workshop to equip and upgrade their knowledge.
Some of the participants including Mr. Adeyinka Arogundade, Mrs Olubunmi Olanipakun, Mrs. Folasade Adetule and Olayinka Akinwumi described the programme as timely and eye-opener which they maintained had imparted immensely on their chosen careers.
The one day Capacity Building Workshop with theme ‘Ethics of Public Service’ featured Ethics of the Civil service, Health Talk and Paper Presentation on Financial Administration.
